Princes Risborough War Memorial Trust

Background

The Princes Risborough War Memorial Trust is a registered Charity set up in 1988. The aim of the Trust is to provide support to any resident in the Parish in relation to medical needs, where such support is not otherwise readily available, for example from the NHS.

Purpose

The purpose of the Trust is to help with the costs of unforeseen needs that accompany illness or disability.  This can include such basic things as help in and around the home, personal alarms, simple mobility aids and the cost of hospital visits.  More substantial items of equipment, such as specialist furniture, mobility vehicles, adaption of current home and carer relief have all been provided in the past (either in full or by way of a grant towards part of the cost).

Funding

The Trust has an investment fund that generates an annual income.  It is the intention of the Trustees that the income is then distributed amongst the Parish to achieve the aims of the Charity.
